Open Positions:

Elizabeth Wende Breast Care is seeking a full time Front Desk Manager. This position is responsible for managing the front desk areas of all EWBC locations, coordinating all functions of the check in and check out procedures, and supervising the staff to ensure optimal patient care and workflow efficiency.

General Responsibilities and Duties:

Managerial

  • Supervise, guide, motivate and evaluate employees
  • Hire and train new employees
  • Create and manage department schedule, PTO and time off requests
  • Communicate & implement workflow and billing changes
  • Manage PCI compliance of credit card machines in the Front Desk areas
  • Review, manage and implement Emergency Management Plan for Front Desk Department

Front Desk

  • Check in patients
  • Verify and update patient information in the EHR system
  • Collect co-pays and deductibles from patients at time of appointment
  • Understand Insurance Eligibility, fee schedules, and ledgers

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role at healthcare practice
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality
  • Professional and courteous
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Skill in using healthcare software and computer skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally with physicians, administration, staff and patients
