The Position

We are looking to add a sonographer to our exceptional sonographer team to deliver quality patient care while performing diagnostic and screening breast ultrasounds and related diagnostic procedures. Candidate must have the ability to independently operate ultrasound equipment and assist physicians in the diagnosis process. Sonographers will receive extensive training upon hire. The position offers full-time days, with shifts ending no later than 5:30 pm, with no calls, holidays, or weekends.

 

General Responsibilities and Duties

  • Contribute to quality patient care while performing ultrasound procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform screening breast ultrasounds
  • Occasionally perform procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease (FNAC, cyst aspirations, and ultrasound core biopsy)
  • Correlate mammographic and MRI information with ultrasound examinations
  • Use independent judgment during the ultrasound exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings
  • Complete medical billing forms, and maintain records, logs, and reports of daily work performed
  • Reports directly to Ultrasound Department Manager

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Registry eligible upon graduation
  • Required to pass ARDMS Breast board exam within 6 months of hire
  • Basic computer knowledge is necessary; familiarity with EHR and PACS systems beneficial
  • Ability to maintain great customer service skills in a high-volume facility

Job Summary

Responsible for accurately fulfilling the duties of the Billing Department, including posting/charging payments, processing claims, reviewing denials, collecting payments, and corresponding with insurance providers and patients.

 

Breast imaging facility seeking a full-time Posting Auditor to add to our experienced Billing Department. This position is responsible for reviewing patients’ medical records after an office visit and correctly assigning the correct CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes, and modifiers per coding guidelines. The position reports directly to the Billing Manager. Communication skills with coworkers and patients are vital to improving processes and maintaining quality customer relations. It requires strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and the ability to produce, interpret, and present detailed billing activity reports.

 

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and reviewing patient’s electronic files and documents for verification and accuracy
  • Examining documents for missing information
  • Assigning and ensuring diagnosis and procedure codes, charges, and modifiers are correct
  • Reviewing for NCCI edits
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of insurance regulations, billing procedures, and coding guidelines that affect insurance AR payments.
  • Relate any coding updates from payors and be familiar with where to find the medical policies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Charge entry
    -Post charges for diagnostic patients
    -Ensure CPT and ICD-10 codes are accurate and sequenced correctly in accordance with government and insurance guidelines
  • Claims processing
    -Process all claims, ensuring diagnosis and procedure codes, charges, and modifiers are correct
    -Troubleshoot and correct any problems that prevent a claim from being released for acceptance by insurance carriers
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certifications: CMC or CPC required
  • 3+ years of coding work experience. Radiology billing profession preferred
  • Knowledge of Radiology CPT and ICD-10 codes helpful
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, use critical thinking, prioritize tasks, and be familiar with Excel/Office Suite
  • Ability to work alone on pre-determined tasks or in pairs/groups on a project. Flexibility with tasks—no day is the same in a billing office

Hourly rate: $24.00-$27.00

Job Summary

Provides and assists with health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of a physician. Supports doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. Collects test samples, maintains patient records, explains common medical procedures to patients and assists in basic examinations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare exams in EHR/PACS systems
  • Prepare exam rooms and medical instruments
  • Assist physicians with workflow and procedures such as ultrasound, core biopsies, fine needle aspirations & cyst aspirations. Must be comfortable with blood and needles.
  • Prepares specimens and paperwork for laboratory analysis
  • Schedule appointments and handle calls to patients, physician offices and labs
  • Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Associate Degree or higher preferred, Medical Assistant Certification optional

Performance Standards

Reports to Medical Assistant Managers. May be required to work with a physician at our satellite locations, and pick up an occasional late night. Ability to multi-task and work under stressful situations is essential. Must have a teamwork mindset, but also be able to work individually.

Job Summary

The MRI administrative assistant will perform the daily administrative duties that serve our MRI patients. This individual is responsible for checking in MRI patients as they arrive for their appointment. They will also aid patients throughout their visit ensuring comfort and care throughout their time within the building. They will assist the High-Risk Department by obtaining prior authorizations, reviewing and organizing medical records and preparing specimen kits for send-out. This position is full-time M-F with occasional Saturdays.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and triage voicemails from patients and referring doctors’ offices
  • Check in MRI patients (~18-20 per day) and Blood draw patients (up to 4 per day)
  • Submit insurance prior-authorization paperwork
  • Monitor daily dashboards
  • Day ahead patient chart prep
  • Electronic billing of services
  • Maintain cancellation list and contact patients as last-minute appointments become available
  • Prepare blood and buccal specimen kits
  • Oversee consent paperwork for genetic testing
  • Prepare patient educational materials for newly diagnosed patients
  • Ensure cleanliness of waiting room
  • Support an efficient, on-time daily schedule

Performance Standards

High-Risk Administrative Assistants are expected to perform well in a team environment, also possessing the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The expectation is that the needs of the patient are always the priority. The ability to multitask and attention to detail is essential in this role. This position reports directly to the High-Risk Department Manager.

Hourly $18.00-$24.00

The Position:

We are looking for a per diem or full-time breast MRI technologist. This position works with a team, using MRI to serve our high risk and newly diagnosed patients. The position offers full time with no holidays or call.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review MRI procedure with the patient
  • Perform breast MRI
  • Work closely with radiologists
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with regulations

Skills and Qualifications

  • Current state licensing
  • CPR certification helpful
  • Breast MRI experience optimal, but not required (willing to train)
  • Injection certification preferred (willing to train)
  • Self-motivated/independent
  • Basic computer knowledge necessary; familiarity with EHR and PACS systems beneficial
  • Ability to maintain great customer service skills in a high-volume facility

Job Summary

The Controller is responsible for working closely with the Operations Officer to oversee the accounting processes, assist in management of facility and IT departments. Candidates should possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The role requires relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing direction and guidance to IT staff
  • Participation with upper management in growth of business
  • Management of all facility location expenses
  • Reviewing internal and external financial statements

  • Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls

  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions
  • Ensures operation of equipment by establishing preventive maintenance requirements and service contracts, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques
