The Position
We are looking for a full-time (M-F) medical assistant to assist radiologists with procedures and many other aspects of day-to-day operations. Must have a teamwork mindset but also be able to work individually.
General Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare exams in EHR/PACS systems
- Prepare exam rooms and medical instruments
- Assist physicians with workflow and procedures such as ultrasound, core biopsies, fine needle aspirations & cyst aspirations
- Prepares specimens and paperwork for laboratory analysis
- Schedule appointments and handle calls to patients, physician offices, and labs
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with regulations

The Position
We are looking for a per diem Physician Assistant. This position works with a team, using MRI to serve our high-risk patients 1-2 Saturdays per month.
General Responsibilities and Duties
- Experience in Radiology setting; Radiology PA preferred but willing to train
- Work with support staff and MRI technologists to provide care to High-Risk Breast MRI screening patients
- Proficient IV skills
- Must be knowledgeable and comfortable in treating Gadolinium contrast reactions with the assistance of MRI technologist(s) and staff: triage, treat, and document
- Demonstrate ability and appropriate technical skills when administering treatments and procedures
- Active part of MRI patient throughput: Screen MRI patients for safety, place IV for contrast administration and assist with MRI patient positioning and room turnover
- Train on and operate power injector
- Use Avairis (EWBC electronic medical record) for documentation
Qualifications
- Current state licensing
- BLS required

- Review MRI procedure with the patient-
- IV skills required

- Work closely with other technologists, front office high-risk staff, and a Physician Assistant

Qualifications:
- Current state licensing
- CPR certification is mandatory
- Breast MRI experience optimal but not required (willing to train)
- Injection certification preferred (willing to train)

The Position
We are looking for a full-time radiologic technologist with mammography experience preferred but who is willing to train. The position offers full-time days, no weekends, and no evening calls.
General Responsibilities and Duties
- Contribute to quality patient care while delivering mammography procedures
- Operates radiologic equipment and performs procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease
- Review images for quality control
- Troubleshoot equipment as needed

The Position
The breast Imaging facility is seeking a full-time Medical Billing Collections and Denial Specialist to add to our experienced Billing Department. This position is responsible for overseeing the overdue patient collection, analyzing trends, and coding issues resulting in insurance denials. The position reports directly to the Billing Manager. Communication skills with coworkers and patients are vital to improving processes and maintaining quality customer relations. Requires strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and the ability to produce, interpret and present detailed billing activity reports.
General Responsibilities and Duties
Denials and Claim Resolution
- Daily review of insurance claims denials. Reviews, researches, and resubmits required documentation for denied claims to support payment from insurance providers
- Follow up on unpaid/denied insurance claims. Resolves unpaid claims which have not been paid/rejected within a predetermined period through the appeals process
- Comfortable communicating with insurance provider representatives by email, telephone, or virtual/in-person meeting to identify and ensure payment of claims
- Understands in detail insurance and billing procedure guidelines when resubmitting claims and appeals.
- Prepares reports for management to document recurring problems and identify the source of reimbursement delays. Works closely with management to ensure effective communication and education of staff.
Daily as Assigned
- Claim Processing
o Process all claims, ensuring diagnosis and procedure codes, charges and modifiers are correct
o Troubleshoot and correct any problems that prevent a claim from being released for acceptance by insurance carriers - Insurance and Patient payment posting
o Post payments and resolve unpaid, overpaid, or unreconciled insurance claims
o Maintain a detailed knowledge of insurance regulations, billing procedures, and coding guidelines that affect insurance AR payments
Qualifications
- CMC or CPC with experience in Radiology Billing preferred
- Experience with ledger resolution helpful
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and internal personal skills
- Ability to multi-task, use critical thinking, and familiar with Excel
Job Summary
This position manages the Call Center for all EWBC locations, coordinating all scheduling, programming, and staff training to create optimal patient care and workflow efficiency.
General Responsibilities and Duties
Managerial:
- Interviews candidates, hires, and trains new call center personnel and prepares them to respond to patient scheduling, and addresses patient questions and concerns
- Prepares call center performance reports by collecting and analyzing call agents’ data
- Evaluates reports and look for areas of strength and improvement
- Evaluates individual performance reviews with individual staff
- Reviews performance reports and overall effectiveness with upper management
- Helps call agents with challenging patient issues
- Anticipates future needs for patient scheduling and appointment needs at all locations
- Builds and programs future scheduling templates
- Monitors team performance and provides tools if necessary
- Maintains and improves call center operations by monitoring system performance and identifying and resolving problems.
- Presents monthly and annual call center action plans and objectives
- Work closely with Front End Patient Services Manager

Performance Standards
Medical Call Center Manager is expected to perform well in a team environment, also possessing the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The expectation is that the needs of the patient are always the priority. Therefore, the ability to multitask and attention to detail is essential in this role. This position reports directly to the Operations Director.
Job Summary
Responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting and checking in patients, verifying and updating patient information accurately, and handling insurance, deductibles, and co-pays while ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor.
