Position Description:

Exciting opportunity for a board certified/board eligible genetic counselor or Nurse Practitioner with Genetics experience to join our Genetic Counseling and Cancer Risk Assessment Office. The genetic counselor will provide genetic education, counseling and psychological support to affected individuals as well as at-risk family members.


  • Provide genetic counseling services for a wide variety of inherited cancer syndromes in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Work as part of a dynamic team under the supervision of a senior genetic counselor and in collaboration with a multiple-member support staff team.


  • Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in genetic counseling from an accredited ABGC (American Board of Genetic Counseling) training program and be Board Eligible/Board Certified by ABGC or ACMG (American Board of Medical Genetics) OR a Nurse Practitioner experience in Genetics.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate medical information, test results, diagnoses and management plans in an easily understood manner.
  • Experience and/or interest in research is also desirable.
  • Candidates must have excellent writing skills.
  • Be able to work independently as well as with a team.

The Position:

We are looking for a full time Radiologic Technologist with mammography experience preferred, but willing to train. The position offers full time days, no weekends, no evening call.

General Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Contribute to quality patient care while delivering mammography procedures
  •  Operates radiologic equipment and performs procedures to assist physicians in diagnosis of disease
  • Review images for quality control
  • Troubleshoot equipment as needed


  • Two-year program with ARRT registration and New York State licensed
  • Basic computer knowledge necessary; familiarity with EHR and PACS systems beneficial
  • Ability to maintain great customer service skills in a high-volume facility

Seeking an energetic and compassionate patient service representative for a full-time position, (M-F, 8:30am-5pm), in a fast-paced breast imaging facility. The ability to multi task and attention to detail is important in this role.

General Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Schedule appointments
  • Check in patients
    • Verify and update patient information in the EHR system
    • Collect co-pays and deductibles from patients at time of appointment


  • 1-3 years medical office experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge necessary; familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems beneficial
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

We are looking for a responsible, detail oriented and enthusiastic Medical Records Specialist to join our Records Department. This is a full-time position, (M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm, no holidays or weekends).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meticulously maintain physical and electronic patient records
  • Assist patients and outside facilities with the transfer of records
  • Accurately scan records into patients’ electronic health records
  • Must adhere to HIPAA regulations and policies

We are looking for a competent Billing Specialist/Payor Analyst to undertake a variety of financial and non-financial responsibilities. Highly motivated in billing, claims, denials and document management, responsible for managing the insurance accounts receivables post claims processing to include edits, rejections, and denials. Accurate claims submission within payor guidelines, timely follow up and assistance with denial management.

Position Key Accountabilities:

  • Reviews insurance company contracts to ensure accuracy of reimbursement
  • Monitors charges/reimbursements to optimize collection process and identify inconsistencies
  • Interfaces with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or insurance companies to handle various problems
  • Analyzes fee structures to ensure professional fee billings, Responsible for the financial results of the Payors
  • Ensures accuracy to optimize reimbursement while adhering to regulations
  • Stays abreast of coding procedures resulting in accurate reimbursement
  • Trains various personnel in billing procedures
  • Prepare thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ability to:

  • Must be able to work independently
  • Accurately utilize applicable computer software and equipment for claims processing
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of the office in regard to changes in work volume, planned change, scheduling changes, etc.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of established insurance contracts
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Proven experience as billing specialist
  • Adherence to laws and best practices when dealing with customers and data
  • Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)

Minimum Education: BS degree in Finance, Accounting or BA preferred

Minimum Experience: Two years of directly related experience in area of specialty

We are looking for a full time (M-F) Medical Outcomes Data Coordinator. This position plays an important behind-the-scenes role in the organization, tracking all patients that come to our facility for an appointment in our Medical Outcomes system.

General Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collection of information on all patients presenting to the center (demographics, appointment information, core biopsy pathology, and surgical pathology)
  • Preparation of core biopsy results and cytology results for physician review
  • Annual collaboration with the Compliance Department to provide information for MQSA inspection


  • Must be highly organized with the ability to think critically and independently problem solve
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for frequent interaction with healthcare professionals and physicians
  • Excellent Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Access is desirable
  • Medical background is optimal

General Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prepare exams in EHR/PACS systems
  • Prepare exam rooms and medical instruments
  •  Assist physicians with workflow and procedures such as ultrasound, core biopsies, fine needle aspirations & cyst aspirations
  • Prepares specimens and paperwork for laboratory analysis
  • Schedule appointments and handle calls to patients, physician offices and labs
  •  Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with regulations
