Elizabeth Wende Breast Care is a Center of Excellence and is on the cutting edge of technological advancements in breast care. With this in mind, EWBC has an active clinical trial and institutional research department that works to keep EWBC involved in the latest clinical research with new technologies. EWBC has been part of numerous multicenter clinical trials evaluating a range of technologies, including digital mammography (ACRIN 6652 – DMIST), breast MRI (ACRIN 6667), breast CT, digital breast tomosynthesis mammography, osteoporosis screening, and screening breast ultrasound in women with dense breast tissue.
