The Position

We are looking to add a sonographer to our exceptional sonographer team to deliver quality patient care while performing diagnostic and screening breast ultrasounds and related diagnostic procedures. Candidate must have the ability to independently operate ultrasound equipment and assist physicians in the diagnosis process. Sonographers will receive extensive training upon hire. The position offers full-time days, with shifts ending no later than 5:30 pm, with no calls, holidays, or weekends.

 

General Responsibilities and Duties

  • Contribute to quality patient care while performing ultrasound procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform screening breast ultrasounds
  • Occasionally perform procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease (FNAC, cyst aspirations, and ultrasound core biopsy)
  • Correlate mammographic and MRI information with ultrasound examinations
  • Use independent judgment during the ultrasound exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings
  • Complete medical billing forms, and maintain records, logs, and reports of daily work performed
  • Reports directly to Ultrasound Department Manager

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Registry eligible upon graduation
  • Required to pass ARDMS Breast board exam within 6 months of hire
  • Basic computer knowledge is necessary; familiarity with EHR and PACS systems beneficial
  • Ability to maintain great customer service skills in a high-volume facility

Job Summary

The Controller is responsible for working closely with the Operations Officer to oversee the accounting processes, assist in management of facility and IT departments. Candidates should possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The role requires relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

  • Management of all facility location expenses
  • Reviewing internal and external financial statements

  • Assisting with the budget process
  • Oversight of payroll
  • Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
  • Monitoring business performance metrics, including billing management process
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by establishing preventive maintenance requirements and service contracts, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques

Performance Standards

This position oversees the Accounting, Facilities, and IT Departments and reports directly to the Operations Officer.

Job Summary

Responsible for accurately fulfilling the duties of the Billing Department, including posting/charging payments, processing claims, reviewing denials, collecting payments, and corresponding with insurance providers and patients.

 

Breast imaging facility seeking a full-time Posting Auditor to add to our experienced Billing Department. This position is responsible for reviewing patients’ medical records after an office visit and correctly assigning the correct CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes, and modifiers per coding guidelines. The position reports directly to the Billing Manager. Communication skills with coworkers and patients are vital to improving processes and maintaining quality customer relations. It requires strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and the ability to produce, interpret, and present detailed billing activity reports.

 

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and reviewing patient’s electronic files and documents for verification and accuracy
  • Examining documents for missing information
  • Assigning and ensuring diagnosis and procedure codes, charges, and modifiers are correct
  • Reviewing for NCCI edits
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of insurance regulations, billing procedures, and coding guidelines that affect insurance AR payments.
  • Relate any coding updates from payors and be familiar with where to find the medical policies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Charge entry
    -Post charges for diagnostic patients
    -Ensure CPT and ICD-10 codes are accurate and sequenced correctly in accordance with government and insurance guidelines
  • Claims processing
    -Process all claims, ensuring diagnosis and procedure codes, charges, and modifiers are correct
    -Troubleshoot and correct any problems that prevent a claim from being released for acceptance by insurance carriers
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certifications: CMC or CPC required
  • 3+ years of coding work experience. Radiology billing profession preferred
  • Knowledge of Radiology CPT and ICD-10 codes helpful
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, use critical thinking, prioritize tasks, and be familiar with Excel/Office Suite
  • Ability to work alone on pre-determined tasks or in pairs/groups on a project. Flexibility with tasks—no day is the same in a billing office

Hourly rate: $24.00-$27.00
