Wende Logan-Young, M.D.
Dr. Young established the Elizabeth Wende Breast Care Clinic in 1976. She is considered a pioneer in mammographic imaging and is responsible for many of the technological improvements that we take for granted in modern-day film screen mammography. She is known internationally as an expert in the fields of breast imaging and breast disease detection and diagnosis and is a celebrated lecturer and author of numerous books, articles, and chapters on these subjects. Before starting the clinic, Dr. Young was an assistant professor in Diagnostic Radiology at and currently retains the position of clinical professor with the University of Rochester Medical School.
