Wende Logan-Young, M.D.

In 1975, Dr. Young established the facility that today is called Elizabeth Wende Breast Care, LLC. She began her career as an assistant professor in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Rochester Medical School and currently retains the position of Clinical Professor.

Dr. Young is considered a pioneer in mammographic imaging and is responsible for many of the technological improvements that we take for granted as a standard of care in modern-day mammography. She is known internationally as an expert in the fields of breast imaging and breast disease detection and diagnosis. She is a celebrated lecturer and author of numerous books, articles, and chapters on these subjects.
