Patricia Somerville, M.D.

Dr. Somerville served as chief resident at Rochester General Hospital and continues to serve as an assistant professor of Radiology at the University of Rochester. She completed a residency in surgery as well as in radiology, but since 1998 her main focus has been breast imaging.


Dr. Somerville is an active volunteer, providing medical services to the needy in our community. She has been involved with Intervol, a program which recycles unused medical supplies to in-need areas. Her volunteerism has extended to providing a yearly mammography clinic to the women of the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota, as well as humanitarian excursions to Belize and Tanzania.
